Super Stars

We are both working (read playing) very hard in the gym lately.
I am working on all sorts of new tricks, and the trampoline is

but I'm working on all sorts of new skills (some of them solo). Check

Although my school is close enough that I can walk to school,
for now I like to ride the bus. If you weren't aware, I love
riding the school bus, and sometimes it's my favorite part of

Sand People

We've been getting a lot of rain recently, but thankfully it was
sunny and warm today. Gramgo made Daddy promise to put the new
sand that she got us in our sand box (or sand frog it you want
to be exact) today and we're happy to report that Daddy did as
promised! I even had some commentary for him on the video, be

Gramgo's Here!

Gramgo decided to get away from the cold Michigan weather, and
what better place to come than Texas?! Not only do we have the
perfect winter weather, but she'll get to visit with her two most

We decided to get ready for bed early this evening and we were

Tonight we had fun playing with some old and some new friends.
Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner so we stayed behind with some
some friends. Everyone seemed to have a good night, and poor

One of our friends that recently moved away came back for a visit
and we had a lot of fun playing and visiting with Lincoln. Last
time we same him he was almost half as old! Crazy huh?!?! Soon
enough we'll have our own little baby brother to play with so I
guess this was some good practice!

decided to see how I could use them with my jeep and swing
set. I'm still trying to figure out some new stunts, but

Elise was kind enough to make sure that both Kate and I had plenty
of time to learn her funny driving style. What's funny about her
driving style you ask.....well, for starters she drives on the
wrong side of the road. Good thing we were the only ones in the

We haven't been driving our rescue jeep around that much, but it got
plenty of use while Elise and Claire were here. That's a good thing
though because now my sister and I have been driving and riding around

After going through almost all of my presents, I finally got to this
one. I think Mommy and Daddy saved it for last since they knew how

Happy 2nd B-day Kate!

Yesterday was a big day, but for a certain little someone, today
might have been an even BIGGER day! Don't tell anyone, but we actually
celebrated my Birthday a couple days late so my cousins Elise and Claire
could be here for the party. It was well worth the wait and we had
quite the celebration (we even had crab legs and steak for dinner)!!
Heck, I should turn two more often!

Today was the BIG day, and I guess we were good!! (it also appears
that Santa Claus liked our cookies!) We spent most of the morning
opening presents from everyone. We did have to take a short breakfast
break but we started right back up again after we were done eating.

If you know Opa, then you know he loves trains! Good thing that his
granddaughters love trains too! He set up this really neat Geo-Trax
layout and we've been playing with it ever since. Occasionally I

We're used to warm winters now, so taking a break in Florida was

We finally got to Florida, but it was cloudy and rainy. We didn't
let that stop us though. We got up early and ran out on the beach

Since I'm lucky enough to get waffles and eggs, pancakes and
eggs, or crepes and eggs for breakfast almost every weekend, I
finally decided I was big enough to start helping out. I'm
starting with little things, but scrambling the eggs can be
a big deal for someone my size. Don't worry, before you know
it I'll be the one making everything for breakfast. (well, at least
that's what Daddy hopes.....)

Trick-or-Treat!!

Of all the activities we did today, this was probably the
most fun! We walked all around the community trick-or-treating
with our friends and we tried to collect as much candy as

Go Notre Dame!

This was the last activity for our crazy Halloween day
and night. Notre Dame came to San Antonio and we watched
them beat up on Washington State. We met some of Daddy's
friends from work at the game, and even though I was
pretty tired, we had a blast cheering for the Irish!

this morning, then I had a soccer game, which Opa came to,

Daisy and Friends

Right after we entered Epcot, we immediately saw
Daisy. We had to wait a few minutes to meet her

On Our Way!

Slide Novices

Today we went to Schlitterbahn, one of the local water
slide parks. If you haven't heard, we got Daddy season
passes to Schlitterbahn for his Birthday, so that way,
we can enjoy his Birthday all summer long!! If you
hadn't guessed, we had a blast on the first day we
went and can't wait to go back. Even Kate loved the
slides!

Cake's Best Friend

Now that I know how to eat cake, I figured it was time
to include cake's best friend.....ICE CREAM!! Lucky
for us, Gramgo and Pop got Daddy an ice cream maker
for his birthday. Mommy got some fresh ingredients
(strawberries and raspberries if you must know), and

Birthday Cupcakes!

Daddy's birthday is Thursday, so I'm making him some
cupcakes. I did most of the work myself; Mommy told me
what to add and how high to make the mixer go. I even
cracked an egg all by myself! Tonight after gymnastics
Mommy and I are going to make the frosting. (If there
are any cupcakes left anyway.)

Dinner Time

As I mentioned earlier, here we are feeding some
dolphins at dinner time. They were so nice and
loved the fish that we were feeding them. Occasionally
the dolphins would get close enough to touch, but
only if you had some food!

Staying Cool

Mother's Day Fun

Today we enjoyed a nice and relaxing day with our
Mommy on "her" day. Yesterday she got us a new
pool since it's really really REALLY hot in Texas,
and our old pool had a hole. Nothing beats relaxing

The hardest thing about playing in the sand box is

Strawberry Festival

Today we to a "surprise" car trip and we ended up at
the Strawberry Festival. We even met my friend Peyton
and the two of us had a blast walking around and riding
the rides. It was windy and sand was blowing everywhere,
but we still had a lot of fun! As you can see, we found

rodeo that came to town. In Texas, the rodeo is

Ice Skating

Today was the first time I got to go ice skating. The local
hockey team has "free skate" before their home games on
Sunday afternoons, so we tried it out. Daddy ended up taking
me around the rink twice, but I'm not quite sold on ice

I really like it.

fun. The pedals can still get out of reach, so Mommy

horse, Trainer. He's a very nice horse and I get to

cool instructor, and he's going to give me some more

Ever since I discovered this cool pool table, I can't seem to
stay away. You might ask why the top is sitting on the carpet,
and that's easy. The movers broke the legs, so now the top is
where Kirsten and I can reach it! I'm not supposed to be
sitting on it, so don't tell Daddy.

Back to the Races

|
|
Since we had such a blast at the horse races last week, Daddy
decided to take us back. But this time, they had PONY rides!!
Not only that, but the pony rides were FREE!! So you know what
that meant right?!??.....yup, we rode a pony, got back in line,
rode a pony, got back in line and we did that for 1 1/2 hours!
We did take a small break from riding the ponies, so click on

Swing Masters

Today my friend Jaylen came over and we played on my swing set. I
as actually pushing him while he was in the airplane swing. It
was a lot of fun and I always like it when he comes over to play!

Off to the Races (2)

Don't let my big sister fool you into thinking that she's the only
one that likes horses. I can't walk around quite yet, but I still
had a lot of fun at the race tracks too! I can't wait to go back
again soon!

Off to the Races

If you know me well enough, then you'll know that i love horses!!
Last night Mommy and Daddy decided to take us to the local race
track so we could watch the horse races. It was a blast, but that
wasn't the only thing we did there. Check the video to see what

Day at the Zoo

Mommy took the two of us to the zoo today. We got to see all
of my favorite animals. We even got to go for a long train ride
through the parks. My favorite part was the train tunnel!

Big Girl Breakfast

So what am I chowin' down on? Same thing as everyone else.....
some eggs and waffles! I don't like it very much when everyone
else is eating food that I can't have. I really like to eat
the same food as all the big people. I might not have teeth yet,
but I still do a really good job of "chewing" my food.

Can I get a ride?

Today I thought it would be a good idea to give my sister a
ride around the house. She is always following me while I'm
on my bike, but she's not quite big enough to ride one yet.
So I improvised a little bit (on my own might I add) and
decided to give her a ride of her own!

Mini-Van Gogh?

I always see my big sister drawing on her very cool easel so
I have started to do the same. I'm only allowed to play with
the markers if the caps are still on, which doesn't really
seem to bother me for now. And don't worry, I plan on keeping
my ear!

"Mr. Bear"

Here we are sitting together and posing nicely for my first
homework project. Our school has a brown bear (named Sam),
and everyone gets to take him home for a couple of days. Then
you write in the book where you took Sam and/or what you did
with him. I thought a picture with Katelyn would be great!

recognize the rocking horse that my sister Katelyn is riding!
It's the same one that I rode when I was about her age, and
now I like to help her ride it.

Gymnastics

This is on of my favorite places to be, the gym. I love to
tumble on the floor, swing on the bars, jump on the trampoline,
and balance on the
balance beam. Today we worked on the floor and vault. Daddy
will put up a cool video of my vault later tonight. I think
y'all will be very impressed. We work on two apparatuses
each practice so check back later for more stuff.

Slip-n-Slide

Unfortunately the pool was closed today, but not to worry,
because I have a very creative Mommy. She
decided to pull out her old gym mat, (that I also use to
practice my tumbling on) added a little water, and presto!,
we had our very own slip-n-slide. I've been having a
blast with it and it's an easy way to beat the Texas heat!

Forward Progress

I've Done It! I've been trying so hard to move forward.
Up until today I would only go backwards, and I was always
getting stuck under the table or in a corner. But now,
I can roam the house all I want. I'm giving my Mommy and
Daddy a good run for their money!

Daisy and I were chillin' today but Daddy couldn't get a
good picture while we were playing. This was the best
one and it looks like we have our poker faces on! We
were having a lot of fun playing though!

Happy 3rd Birthday!!

Today Kirsten turned 3, and she had a fun party on Saturday.
As promised, here is a picture of her with her cake! If you

Bakers in the Kitchen

chip cookies of course!! Sorry Opa, we'd send some your way,
but Daddy eats them way too fast. Apparently we're doing
something right when we make them since they don't last very
long.

Time for the Dishes

Well, as you can see, dishes don't clean themselves. Since
Daddy was nice enough to make us pancakes, I decided to help
out with washing the dishes after breakfast. Don't tell
Daddy, but I actually LIKE to wash the dishes right now!

Found a Bed

We took a trip to the nearest Ikea so we could get some new
toy storage containers, and while we were there, I decided
to make myself at home. The bed looked way too comfortable
not to get it in. The leaf over the bed looked just like mine
too!! I guess the Ikea in Texas has the same items as the
Ikea in Maryland!
